** Important notice regarding Covid-19 vaccinations ***

Dear Patient,

First Vaccinations

Due to the supply of vaccines, we are currently unable to offer any first vaccinations at present for those aged under 40. Please keep an eye on the website and facebook page for further details when we are able to offer them again. We hope to receive supplies w/c 24th May.

For those aged 40 and above we have some capacity on 14th May. We hope to release more appointments next week.

Second Vaccinations

If you had a vaccination on or before 4th March you can now book your second vaccination. If we have sent you a link via text message this is the easiest way to book. If you have not had a text message then please contact reception after 2pm daily (using option 4) to book your second Covid-19 vaccination.

Oxford Astra Zeneca - We have appointments available Friday 14th May as well as w/c 17th May. Please either use the link you have been sent or call reception after 2pm daily.

Pfizer BionTech - we are receiving our next delivery of Pfizer vaccines w/c 24th May, although as yet we do not have a specific date this week. If your second vaccination is coming due please email leatside.surgery@nhs.net with your name, date of birth, date of your first vaccine and mobile phone number. We will contact you to book. Please include a mobile phone number so that we can send you a booking link.

In the majority of cases second vaccinations will be given in the 11th or 12th week after your first vaccination. If for any reason the gap between your first and seccond vaccines is longer than 12 weeks then the advice is simply to book as soon as possible.

Thank you.

You may feel that you’d find it easier to manage a health condition if you had access to some more specific information, advice, guidance and support.

There are a number of condition-specific services available to people in Totnes.

This includes services focusing on mental health and well-being as well as physical health conditions.

Links to some local services are shown below. If there isn’t anything for your particular health condition, it doesn’t necessarily mean that there isn’t any additional help and support for that condition; it may just mean that the link hasn’t been added.

There is also a lot of advice and guidance online.  The NHS website has information and further links to websites for a wide range of health conditions.

Get Health Information (on this website) also contains resources for a variety of health conditions.
