Some samples are tested within the practice and do not need to be sent to the hospital. However, as this is not always known at the point of drop-off, we advise that all samples are handed in before 14:00 to avoid any delays.
Please note that if a sample is brought in after 14:00, we may not be able to accept it and you may be asked to take it away and return it the next working day.
If you are unsure, please check with reception before bringing your sample in.
