Does everything have to go through an online form?

No, not everything has to go through an online form. During our opening hours, patients will still be able to request help online, by phone, or in person. While we do encourage patients to use the online form where they can, this is not a total online triage system, and it’s very important to us that patients never feel the process is a barrier to getting care. The key change is that a clinical review will now take place before we decide the most appropriate next step for your care.

We do, however, prefer that patients who are able to use the online form choose that option. Submitting a request online means your information is captured accurately and consistently, without relying on a receptionist to interpret or write it down. This improves safety, efficiency, and the quality of our triage. It also helps reduce phone waiting times for those who cannot use the online form.
