All healthcare requests will be reviewed by a GP, to ensure patients are directed to the most appropriate care at the right time, whether that is a same-day appointment, routine booking, or advice from another healthcare professional.
To help us do this safely and fairly, we will be asking for a little more information about your health concern when you contact us, this process is referred to as a total triage system. The fastest way to access this is online through our website. If you are unable to use online services one of our reception team will be able to complete the form with you over the phone.
During our opening hours, you will still be able to contact us:
- Online by using our request form. We will respond to you within 1 working day.
- by phone, 01803 862671 Monday to Friday, when we are open.
- or in person and speak with a member of our reception team, Monday to Friday, when we are open.

However you choose to contact us we may offer you a consultation:
- by phone
- face to face at the surgery
- on a video call
- by text or email.

We offer some appointments outside of our normal opening hours, on weekends and some evenings. Please contact reception to book an extended access appointment.
If you need medical help now, use NHS 111 online or call 111.NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.
Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.
Please tell us:
- If there's a specific doctor, nurse or other health professional you would prefer to respond.
- If you would prefer to consult with the doctor or nurse by phone, face-to-face, by video call or by text or email.
- If you need an interpreter.
- If you have any other access or communication needs.
If you are housebound and need an appointment, we will do a home visit. We will phone you first to understand what you need. To request a home visit, it's helpful if you phone the practice as soon after 8am as possible on 01803 862671.
