Why is it not possible to complete the online form to request GP services outside of surgery opening hours?

The online request form is only available during surgery opening hours for patient safety reasons. Requests submitted through the form need to be reviewed by our clinical and administrative team on the same day. This ensures that urgent health concerns are identified quickly and that requests are directed to the right service. When the surgery is closed, there are no staff available to safely review submissions, so the form is switched off to prevent delays in care or missed urgent needs.
