I started working within the NHS in 2004 as a Healthcare Assistant at Torbay Hospital and graduated Bournemouth University as a Registered Nurse in 2009. During my nursing career I have worked in a number of Acute and Emergency Care environments.
I began working in Primary Care in 2016 after obtaining Post Graduate Qualifications as I wanted to broaden my clinical horizons and understood the importance of people accessing good quality healthcare in their community, close to home. I have since gained Royal College of Nursing “Advanced Level Nursing Practice Credentialed” status. I am very proud to be an Advanced Nurse Practitioner working with the outstanding team at Leatside. I am our local Primary Care Network Lead for Advanced Clinical Practice and Allied Health Professionals and am passionate about the ever developing multi-skilled team approach to care.
